What is Boom City Live?

Boom City Live is a new style of live casino game shows. It uses a grid of 36 squares in rows of six, stacked on top of each other. Two colored dice determine the winning square. The gold dice choose the vertical column 1-6 and the blue dice the horizontal column between 1 and 6. Where the two dice cross, you will find the winning square.

The grid contains prize squares, bonus round squares, bust squares, and power-up squares. Unusually, there is no fixed number for each type of slot, so the grid consists of a different combination of prize slots in each game round.

Game phases

The game consists of two phases. Phase one is the main game where you place bets on the box you think will be chosen after rolling two dice.

• If the result is a “bust square” (X), you lose and the game round ends.
• If the result is a Power-Up slot, 2x and 5x multipliers are distributed across 24 random slots using the multiplier shown below each column. In addition, all bust fields are exchanged for Bronze fields with multipliers between 20x and 50x. The dice are rolled a second time.

What you need to know before playing Boom City?

• The number of times each prize type appears varies. They come in series, so each prize grid has a different combination of prizes.
• Each game round has six betting options – Bronze, Silver and Gold Squares and Lucky Drop, Dice Duel and Boom or Bust Bonus squares.
• The Boom or Bust bonus round sets a minimum payout, which you can lose if you make the wrong decision. A cash-out feature is available.

How to play Boom City?

Casino game starts with 10 seconds betting time. There are six betting options.

You can bet on one, some or all spots. A Bet All feature places bets on all options for the chip value you have selected. The aim is to place a bet on a box that will be a winner by the roll of the dice. Once the betting time has closed, the prize wall will refresh with the 36 slots populated with a combination of Bronze, Silver & Gold, bonus, powerup and bust slots.

At the bottom of each column you will see a multiplier. The multiplier is used for a Power up and is the amount that is divided between the boxes in the column. The presenter activates the dice platforms, which vibrate, causing all the dice to dance around. Gradually, as the frequency decreases, the dice settle down.

The result of the golden die determines the number of the chosen column. The result of the blue dice is responsible for the choice of row. Where the two rows meet, you will find the winning cell. There are four possible outcomes:

• The result is a Bronze, Silver or Gold cell. If you have an active bet, you will receive the relevant one
• A bonus round symbol that initiates the bonus round. If you do not have an active bet, you will see the game round completed.
• The chosen square is a Bust which means you lose.
• The box is a Power-Up. This square changes the Bust squares to Bronze squares with a value of 20x to 50x. It also boosts 24 random slots with multipliers. A respin is triggered. If another power-up occurs, we continue in the same way. Up to 5 consecutive power ups are allowed.

Power Ups Explained

Each game round has three power-up spaces on the grid wall. There is also a multiplier under each column. This number is used during the distribution phase for the multipliers during the Power-up round.

A Power-up will boost 24 squares with multipliers of 2x and 5x. The total amount paid out comes from the total shown under each column. Bust squares are converted to Bronze squares and gain a value between 20x and 50x. All grid squares, including the Bonus squares, can receive the multipliers.

Existing bets stand and the dice are rolled again. Consecutive power-ups can occur, in which case they apply to a new set of 24 random tiles. After a fifth consecutive power-up, power-up squares turn into Gold Squares worth 50x. Money is earned on Boom City when a bonus round has an active power-up multiplier.

Dice Battle Bonus round

The Dice Battle Bonus round is a three-roll match between the gold and blue dice. The die with the highest total after three throws is the winner. Your task is to choose a side, Gold or Blue.

After each roll, the dice results become multipliers that are on the battlefield. After the third roll, the multipliers for the losing and winning sides are added together to determine the winner's payout.

If you supported the winning side, the payout is a multiple of your stake in the bonus round. If you supported the losing side, you will receive a multiplier equal to the total of the three dice rolled combined. It is possible that if one side rolls a number six three times in a row, a special Mega Win payout of 500x becomes payable on the original bet. If the result is a tie, both sides receive the same payout.

• The lowest possible win is a 3x tie.
• The highest standard payout is 500x your stake for three double sixes.
• Multipliers can be higher when a Power-Up is involved.
• The average payout is somewhere between 15x and 25x.

Luck Drop Bonus round

The Lucky Drop Bonus round features a grid of 6 columns, each representing one of the numbers on a die. Above each column are four multipliers stacked on top of each other. The lowest is set at about 10x, while the highest is 200x.

Each column has an initial 5x multiplier – so this is the least you will win on this game. You must choose one of the dice numbers as your column. The two dice are rolled three times. The result of each die will cause one of the multipliers in the corresponding columns to drop, increasing that column's multiplier.

This process repeats for each roll of the dice. After the last roll you get the total multiplier for the column you chose.

• The minimum win is 5x.
• The maximum is 250x.
• The more times your column's number appears as a result on the dice, the higher the payout you receive.

Boom or Bust Bonus round

The Boom or Bust bonus round is all about risk and reward. Do you have the guts to go ahead and go for the big multipliers, or are you going for a guaranteed payout?

The game uses the gold dice and a 7-row, 6-column grid, with each column representing the numbers on the die 1 – 6. Each row contains a mix of multipliers and bust squares. The more rows the more rows you climb, the more bust squares you find in each row.
The goal is to climb the rows without landing on a bust square.

The rows can also contain a level-up square that moves you up a row and a Hyper Square that makes you jump to level 6.

First roll of dice

The game starts with a first roll of the dice to establish the Safe Multiplier, which is paid out even if you bust out. Each of the columns in the first row contains a multiplier. The result of the dice determines the box for the safe multiplier. This safe multiplier now applies to all players.

As you progress on each row, you have the option to cash out or continue. Only you can decide the best time to cash out. Each roll of the dice determines the next square in line to be chosen.

• If you land on a multiplier space, you can either cash out or continue.
• If you land on a safe multiplier, the multiplier is saved, so you play risk-free next time.
• If the box is a bust symbol, your game is over and you are paid out the safe multiplier.
• If the field contains a Level Up, you move up rows and land on a multiplier field.
• If you land on a Hyper jump space, you move to row 6 and you land on a multiplication space.
